JOB DESCRIPTION:
Senior
GEOPHYSICIST needed in Texas to evaluate
oil and gas exploration opportunities.
Responsibilities
-
Responsible to evaluate exploration, interpret
2D or 3D seismic, field and well data and integrate geophysical and
geological information to produce a complete subsurface evaluation
Requirements
-
Requires BS and MS Geology,
Geophysics and 10 years in New Ventures,
International
Exploration
-
Seeking candidates with proven international
exploration track record
-
Must have experience with prospect generation,
seismic interpretation and mapping expertise as well as the ability
to quickly integrate data and judge quality opportunities
-
Requires proficiency with Landmark
Interpretation suite, 3D Visualization, VoxelGeo or Geoprobe.
UNIX-LINUX, ArcGIS,
MS office suite, Mapping software preferred
